The Boston Tea Party occurred on December 16, 1773. The morning after, a boy by the name of John Robinson found one of the tea chests dumped in Boston Harbor. This chest and the story of the Boston Tea Party was passed through his family for generations until it ended up at the Boston Tea Party Musuem. This story and the chest help us better understand the Boston Tea Party.
