Ingredients

  • 1 pound smoked ham, ground 3/4 pound fresh pork, ground 3/4 pound veal, ground 2 cup bread crumbs 1 cup milk 2 eggs, beaten Salt and pepper to taste Sauce 1 1/2 cups brown sugar 1/2 cup water 1/2 cup white vinegar 1 teaspoon dry mustard 1/2 cup medium dry sherry

Directions

Mix well and form into 8 individual loaves. Place in Shallow baking pan and pour over the following sauce which has been mixed and heated. Sauce Bake in 300 degree to 325 degree oven for 1½ hours, basting several times. Add more water and sherry if necessary. Do not allow sauce to thicken and burn.
