During the Revolutionary War, many courageous women served as nurses for the Continental Army. They took care of sick and wounded soldiers, oftentimes caring for their own husbands, sons, brothers, or neighbors who were serving as soldiers.
Join the Youth Programs team at the Discovery Station to hear the stories about some of the army nurses, and learn more about the important role they played in the American Revolution!
*In the event of bad weather, this program will take place in the lobby of the Ford Orientation Center.
