What is a legacy? Join Tobias Lear mere moments after George Washington's death as he considers how George Washington will be remembered.

Talk to Historic Trades Staff in the blacksmith shop to learn more about blacksmithing at Mount Vernon (9 a.m. – 12 p.m.; 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.)

The Death and Mourning of General George Washington Tour
10 a.m., 2 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday
This once-a-year tour examines George Washington's final 36 hours and the events that followed his death. This tour is 90-100 minutes.
