Mount Vernon was excited to host several members of the talented cast of the Disney+ series National Treasure: Edge of History on October 4, 2022. The action-adventure show, based on the National Treasure film series, stars Lisette Olivera and also features Catherine Zeta-Jones, Harvey Keitel, and Riley Poole.

Olivera was joined at Mount Vernon by fellow cast members Lyndon Smith, Jake Austin Walker, Zuri Reed, and Antonio Cipriano, and Jordan Rodrigues. In preparation for the series debut, the cast filmed several promotional clips at Mount Vernon, including a light-hearted “Fact or Fiction” trivia game on the Bowling Green.

Cast members were then led on a tour of the Mansion by Mount Vernon’s Director of Interpretation Jeremy Ray, during which they asked several questions about Washington and his historic home.

Equipped with this newfound knowledge, cast member Antonio Cipriano filmed several clips in which he played tour guide for his colleagues — with hilarious and historically dubious results.
