George Washington's Mount Vernon Estate is owned and maintained in trust for the people of the United States by the Mount Vernon Ladies' Association, a private, non-profit organization. The Association welcomes outside organizations or companies to co-host private evening events, after the estate is closed, in the locations listed below.
East Lawn
The Mansion's east lawn offers spectacular views across the Potomac River, unparalleled access to the grounds and historic area, and provides an unforgettable evening.
Greenhouse
The Greenhouse, located in the heart of the historic area, offers guests tranquility and quiet beauty set against the backdrop of a premier 18th-century garden designed by Washington's own hand. Guests may enjoy cocktails in the upper garden and dinner inside the greenhouse.

Ford Orientation Center

The George Washington Presidential Library
Situated on a hill, the Washington Library features casual elegance, high ceilings, American Sycamore wood walls, and stunning floor-to-ceiling windows. Imbibed with a sense of retreat and opportunity, this space features an ideal reception space and unique dinner setting. Guests may enjoy a cocktail reception and seated dinner in this unique and special place.

George Washington's Distillery & Gristmill
This fully reconstructed site, located 2.7 miles from the estate, offers a unique rustic setting that guests will find inviting and warm. Begin with a cocktail reception in the Gristmill followed by a short lantern-lit walk to a seated dinner in the Distillery, complete with wood hewn by hand, cooper stills, and warm fires.
