The Ann Pamela Cunningham Society
Members of the Ann Pamela Cunningham Society have kindly informed us that they have remembered Mount Vernon in their estate plans or have provided for a planned gift, such as a charitable gift annuity. Miss Cunningham founded the Mount Vernon Ladies’ Association of the Union in 1853 and tirelessly gathered support from across America to rescue George Washington’s home and to assure that his legacy endures.

Life Guard Society
Named after the elite group of approximately 150 officers responsible for insuring the safety of George Washington, today's members of The Life Guard Society holds fundraising events twice a year to support specific projects at Mount Vernon and also supports the estate through personal contributions. Membership in the Life Guard Society is not considered an honorary role, but rather a call to action – members give generously of time, talent, and resources to help with a wide variety of signature projects focused on Mount Vernon’s mission for preservation and education.

The Founders, Washington Committee for Historic Mount Vernon
The Founders Committee is a volunteer support group comprised exclusively of women based in or nearby Washington, DC. For the past three decades, they have developed and supported a wide range of projects, publications, programs, and events which further the objectives of the Mount Vernon estate to preserve Washington’s home and educate the public about the legacy and virtues of George Washington.
